This course targets individual contributors and employees with little to no financial knowledge. It provides non-financial employees with a basic understanding of accounting principles and the three major financial statements:
- Income Statement
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
After the teaching section for each statement, skill building exercises use your company's Annual Report financial information to keep the course relevant.
Particpants learn how their job tasks relate to departmental and company profitability; and why senior management makes certain decisions. Basic and diluted Earnings Per Share (EPS) of common stock are reviewed with a teaching section and examples. Participants learn why and how financial performance impacts share price.
