Capital Investment analysis

One of the modules in the intermediate course, Business Finance for Non-Financial Professionals, is Capital Investment Decision Analysis. This module always produces lively interaction in the classroom. Based on the classroom interaction, some clients ask Excidian to evaluate the design and construction of a spreadsheet template that they are currently using. Other clients ask Excidian to design, program and deliver a spreadsheet template to be used for project analysis.

1. Spreadsheet evaluation – This type of project involves review and reengineering of an existing spreadsheet to validate methodology and output results.

2. Designing and programming spreadsheets – This is a more extensive project that requires close interaction between Excidian and a client to identify output goals and design criteria so that a spreadsheet template can be created that meets the client’s operational needs.
